John D. Deiley
John D. Deiley, 80, of Allentown, died Thursday, February 27, 2014, at St. Lukes Hospital, Allentown. He was the companion of Ruth Prosoco. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Claude R. and Florence D. (Fries) Deiley. Before retiring in 2000, he worked as an electrician for Cabot Co., Boyertown for many years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in the Korean War. Survivors: Companion, Ruth; son, Stuart Deiley and his wife, Patricia; brothers, James and his wife, Janet, Paul and his wife, Janet, Michael, and Thomas along with his wife, Karen; sisters, Jean Layton, Claudia Stortz and her husband, Daniel; three grandchildren; 24 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Jessica; sisters, Estelle Levan, Joyce Steckel, Ellen Jane Martucci. Services: 11 a.m., Thursday, March 6, at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown.
