Heckman, Lester W.Lester W. Heckman, Jr. 73, of Allentown, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of RoseMary (Williston) Heckman, to whom he was married 41 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Lester W. Sr. and Emma (Wirth) Heckman. He served as a 1st Lt. in the U.S. Navy from 1959 - 1962. Before retiring in 1995, he worked as a draftsman at Lucent Technology. He was a board member of Woodlawn Fire Co., a member of Cetronia Fire Co. and a member of the American Legion, Peter Post 576. He was an avid dart shooter who also enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling. Survivors: wife, son Thomas L. and his wife Tammy of Pleasanton, CA, daughter Deborah A., wife of Keith Bauer of Allentown, Sherry B. Heckman and her fiancé Ernest Frantz, Jr., of Kunkletown, grandchildren Corey, Clint, Hannah, Eddie, Lindsay, Lucas, Damien. He was predeceased by brothers Robert, Richard and William, sister Janice Semprini. Services: 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 26, at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. Calling will be held Wednesday, 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday, 1:30 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
