I am an Air Force Veteran.......I stand and Salute you Sir..........may you RIP. God Speed to your eternal resting place in your Mansion in Heaven.......This Veterans Prayer is dedicated to you sir.................
A Veterans Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father up above
I ask you fill our Hearts with love
They give themselves to defend our land
Across the seas in blood drenched sand

The battles rage everyday
I ask you guide them along their way
My brothers and sisters who don't come home
May they rest in Peace and never be alone

I count the days as the end draws near
Trying to stay strong and show no fear
Our families wait with arms stretched wide
Waiting the days till we are at their side

So as the tears fall down our face
I ask the Lord......Please keep us safe.
