MARY KATHERINE TAYLOR

Mary Katherine Taylor was born on July 28, 1923 in Manchester, TN where she lived for 23 years. She passed away at the age of 89 in Merced, CA where she has lived for the past 66 years and was a member of the Merced Church of Christ.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene Taylor; brother, Herman Jones; sisters, Lourine Taylor and Deane Jones; and son-in-law, Albert McCracken.
She leaves behind her daughter, Judy Taylor McCracken; sister, Bea Patterson; sister-in-law, Alta Lee Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Merced District Cemetery on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10:00am.

she will be missed very much, i remember growing up always visiting her she always gave me treats and always helped her n her garden. she was like a grandma to me.

Aunt Katherine was a dear and special lady. She shared her wisdom,faith,love of cooking and gardening skills and more with me. I will treasure all I learned from her always. May she rest in God's heaven now with her loved ones. Sending love and prayers to Judy and Bea and the family.

I was named after my aunt Mary and although I didn't meet her until my teens I heard my mother speak of her all the time.My condolences to Judy and Bea and the rest of the family.
