mmmmm Greg, I just heard this week... Big hearts go out to you. I've been telling my wife as I read these stories, some of my memories, your gifts. practicing on diving boards and trampolines to do flips on skis, then eventually doing some big ones at SV etc. You made me a fiberglass skateboard which saw swimming pools and crazy steep newly paved roads. Country Club games, caddying, bike ride one day to Pescadero or whatever and back with little food, OMG! 14 yrs old? Many inventions...Concerts,parties, fun.Keep it up Maestro. Haven't seen or talked in years but you helped me bust out of shyland and have alot of adventure...and as people have said you didn't advertise it! Blessings, Thanks and Prayers for You and Your Family and Friends who are processing this unexpected loss... You went to Neil Young and the Ducks way back and sent me the ticket stub in Colorado!!! What a Rock Star!!! Maybe I'll notice all that genius next time. Om Mani Padme Hum~ Great Light

My heart is saddened by this terrible news. I have very fond memories while working with Greg at Merrill's Packaging over 15 years ago. He was an adventurer and had an unmatched enthusiasm to live his life well. I was fortunate to enjoy an evening of dancing to, and with, his band in San Mateo just last year. I am glad I got to spend time with him.

I just found out about my friend Greg while planning a visit to San Jose. He was the first person I wanted to see. Always the same, full of life, never arrogant, treated everyone with respect, in your face fun. The last time I saw him he was setting up a trampoline next to his pool and invited me to try it. I went there to return a giant favor he did for me, he dug me out of a major trench in life. What a guy. I left laughing after watching him jump really high in the air and try a bunch of moves only to back flop and drench everything nearby. I thought he was undestructable. Sad day today. My condolences to his family and friends.

I have vivid fond memories of Greg as buds at St Simons School, hanging the school flags together everyday, visiting the Sulger home, hitting golf balls across the street at LAGCC, shenanigans involving golf carts late at night. Most of all I was so impacted and impressed, actually in awe, by how gracious and fun loving Greg and his family were. I ran into Greg about 14 years ago in Mt View, we hung out for a period of time and he still had that special charisma I knew as a kid. Thank you for the awesome fond memories Greg! My sincere condolences to the Sulger family.
