I have known Pat since kindergarten at Edmonds Elementary School in Mrs. Spot's class. We have been friends ever since and can't begin to express how much we valued our friendship through the years. Pat truly loved his family, Linda, his two children Joelle & Ryan and of course his sister Phyllis. I was one of many who were so blessed to know and spend time with Pat and we will all remember what a special person Pat was. Pat will always be a part of me and will greatly miss talking to him. My love to Pat's immediate family. I was one of several who were able to participate in the celebration of Pat's life and the opportunity to spend time with Pat's family and circle of friends. We love you Pat and will always remember your love for others.
Pat was a great mentor and role model for how to live a fun life. Most of all he is Loved by all...
Eventhough I wasn't close friends with Pat Linehan during school or after I am feeling the loss of a person I knew to be cheerful, kind, loving & giving and having had a positive influence on the many lives he touched. Knowing great loss myself I truly sympathize with those who will miss him most. Gone too soon but never forgotten. I wish PEACE to all who are grieving now.
Pat was always the same Patrick I knew from the time we were babies together. Pat left us far too soon, but he has left behind a legacy of fond memories of fun times together. Pat's kindness and generosity will live on in the most fitting way through Pat's Party
Fund being developed in Pat's memory to assist classmates who
need it with a scholarship to attend our reunions. In that way, Pat will never miss a reunion. My heartfelt condolences to Linda, Phyllis, and the rest of Pat's family.
I, too, was saddened to hear of Pat's untimely passing. I had the great good fortune to work for him in six different companies over the years and can attest to his wisdom, good sense, diligence, concern for the welfare of his employees, and sense of humor. He was the best boss I ever had. I owed him a great deal and I will miss him. All my best to Linda and his family.
I had the honor of knowing Pat as we shared Meadowdale High School together in the early sixties. What an amazing group of souls our classmates would become. As with many, Pat and I embarked on our individual destinies, however different they were. Nonetheless, a vestigial bond resiliently connected us all which assured that Pat, Pete, others and I would reacquaint after 40 + years. Of all, Pat had changed the least. I know little of his success as he did not wear accolades but chose his family and lifelong friends as his priority. I will keep his friendship, humility and persona close as a reminder of how life should be. My wife and I offer our most sincere condolences to Linda, family and friends throughout Pat's extraordinary life. He brought all of us to higher levels of living and I shall remain eternally grateful for his presence. Oh by the way Pat… leave some martinis up there for me.
we will miss you but you will be in our harts for life. Dennis Brandt
I so enjoyed getting to know Pat better at our recent high school reunions. Here is the first class we were in together, which means he was my square dance partner from time to time. He was strong and knew how to "Swing 'em Like Thunder".
I am sending a warm embrace to his family and friends as they celebrate his amazing life tomorrow. May these memories of him comfort you at this very difficult time.
Anyone who knew Pat, knew he knew how to live. I was fortunate enough to work for him but more fortunate to call him a friend... and I will miss him.
Pat I cannot believe your gone. I just spoke with you last week! God must of needed you more in heaven than down with us. You are a great friend. May God bless Linda and all your family. Luv you Jim Bartolomeo
I remember you and Phyllis living next to the Chief of Police. I emailed you a few yrs ago and you were a sweet funny man. I am sorry to hear of the passing but know God has his hand on you and your loved ones. Bless all of you.
A great man has started another journey. His smile, wit, and laughter will live on. Pat was a mentor to me. Thank you for making me the successful person I am today. I will always remember the adventures we shared. You will always own a piece of my heart.
December 2012 our Class of 1965 from Meadowdale High School held a reunion. It was Pat's night! His warm, gracious personality filled the room with laughter and friendship. I'll always remember "Pat's Reunion!"
The timing of God's calling comes to quick for us. But I know that you're home with the Father!
I remember all the funny, crazy things you did at Meadowdale Senior High! We will miss that part of you but will remember the memories will be forever,Pat! George Reid and I wish that you would have known that we are seeing each other.
May you rest in peace with our Lord & Saviour.
I was such a shock, but with God's timing we never know. I remember so many funny, crazy things U did @ Meadowdale High School in the 60's!! My heart goes out to your family & family's. Wish that you would have known that George Reid and I are seeing each!
God Bless and my U rest in peace my friend.
I sang in our high school choral ensemble with Patrick who was one of the boys who could actually read music! His special talent was keeping us laughing; and it is this fabulous, energizing sense of humor that I will remember him most for. Always a smile. Always a big laugh and not taking himself too seriously. We were lucky to have him in our lives and he will be missed tremendously.
So sad to see someone so young from our class of 65, but I know that you are watching down over your family and friends.
My prayers for your family during this dark time. May they know that you are still wth them, and they will see you again someday. May you R.I.P Pat
