Thinking of you, Donna. I am grateful that I got to cross paths with you. Rest in Peace.
Donna was such a warm person who gave so much of herself. I knew her through Catherine Center and admired her dedication so very much. I will miss her.
Mrs Wright was probable one of my favorite teacher At Anderson Valley Elementary School. She was so kind to me as a student. It saddens me to hear of her passing, she was truly one of a kind. Condolences to her family.
My deepest condolences to Miss Wright's family.
I remember Miss Wright as a teacher. She was very patient with her students. She was an excellent teacher and is remembered fondly these many years later.
Rest In Peace, Miss Wright.
My daughter had Mrs. Wright at Burlingame Intermediate School and went on to become an Occupational Therapist who now works at UCSF. Mrs. Wright encouraged Alicia to write one of her heros, Will Clark who at the time was a player on the SF Giants. He is now a coach. She received a lengthly letter from his mother which thrilled Alicia., which gave her information that seldom people knew. Her best friend, Diana Villegas, also a student of Mrs. Wright went on to become a police officer in Redwood City. I am writing this because I am a retired teacher who also taught middle school and we seldom hear about the successes of our students unlike our colleagues at the elementary or high school. I'm sure Donna would have been proud of both girls.
Your really going to be missed.
Miss Wright was my third grade teacher at Anderson Valley Elementary during the school year of 1958-59. She inspired us to learn and to read, read, read. Always smiling, always patient. She touched many of our lives and we will all miss her. Thank you, Miss Wright. My condolences to her family and friends.
I'm saddend to learn of Miss Wright's passing. She was my third grade teacher in Anderson Valley, in 1955/56. A true lady and a gentle soul.
Miss Wright was my third grade teacher in Anderson Valley, CA, and was wonderful teacher. I know she will be missed by many.
Miss Wright was my third-grade teacher at Anderson Valley Elementary in Boonville, California, in 1957-58. She was an exceptional teacher, full of energy and inspiration. I have thought of her often in the years since I left Anderson Valley, and I will always remember that she introduced our class to the world of musical theater, teaching us the wonderful songs from "The King and I." I, myself, have recently retired from a career as an elementary school teacher. Kudos to you, Miss Wright.
Miss Wright was our third grade teacher in 1958 at Anderson Valley Elementary School in Mendocino County CA. She frequently visited my grandmother next door and that was a little strange to see her away from school when I would walk over to get fresh oatmeal cookies and she would be there sitting on the front porch! She was one of absolute favorite teachers, I'm sure my classmates will agree.
Our deepest condolences to Donna's family and loved ones. We have warm memories from when Donna was a teacher for our children and as our association continued over the years through community activities, particulary the library functions.
I just found out of Donna's passing tonight. :( (from another neighbor) I happen to be a neighbor, and am extremely saddened! Donna was very kind to me from the day I moved here. She was a Beautiful soul.. RIP Donna!
Ms Wright as we called her in class touched the life of many students, including mine. Out of all the teachers in my life Donna comes to mind the most when I think about my grade school days.
Hey, Donna. I hope you're drinking your C&C just like we did in the Good Old Days at La Pinata. Here's to you, old girl.
Lots of love, Sally
