Where does one begin when talking about the best uncle a girl could ask for? I am filled with so many wonderful memories and have been blessed beyond words. I loved going to the fire station when I was a little girl and he was working. I thought it was such a cool place to visit. In 1982 when we moved to Missouri, Jerry & I drove the moving van. Each night when we stopped for dinner I ordered shrimp. He told me I'd better quite or I was going to turn into one before we ever got there. Jerry stayed a few extra days when we got to Missouri (we were all staying in a hotel) and he tried his best to teach me how to dive in the pool...despite his best efforts I still don't know how. I should have tried harder. Thanks to Jerry's passion for cars, I am really good at identifying makes and models of cars. I can't tell you the year, but I can tell you what they are. Not bad for a girl. Every important event in my life, Jerry was there. He was kind and gracious to anyone he met, and always willing to lend a hand. Our family was very blessed. There is a huge hole in my heart that will never be filled. I will love and miss you forever Uncle Jerry. Thank you for everything.
Your very sad, but very grateful niece,
