Albert was born on June 26, 1931 in Goliad, TX.
He served 4 years in the Air Force during the Korean War.
He moved to the bay area in 1951 and worked for the San Jose Unified School District for 38 years. He last worked as maintenance manager at Castellero Middle School in San Jose.
Albert was preceded in death by his son, Ruben.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ida; his daughter, Ada vonDeisenroth (Robert); his daughter-in-law, Sadie Cabrera; his grandchildren, Chez, Ian, Adrea, Kendra (Brandon), Chelsea; his great-grandchildren, Landen, Donovan, Kylie, Lucas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be held at 7pm on Thurs, Feb 28 at Church of the Transfiguration. A mass will follow on Fri, Mar 1 at 10am at Church of the Transfiguration 4325 Jarvis Ave., San Jose.

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Alber. What a wonderful person he was. He was so kind to me when I visited him and my Aunt Ida in California. I loved him very much.
