We first met Danika when she was around 4 yrs. old. She walked into my house and said, "Hi I'm Danika". All I could see was her beautiful eyes and a big smile on her face. That was day her, Johnny and Dede moved next door. She always had a smile on her face. We will never forget you Danika.

As a mother of a student who is involved in Performing Arts at Del Mar and affected by this tragedy, I also grieve for Danika's family and friends. I left flowers at the memorial and will continue to keep the family in my prayers this week.

I remember the first time I met Danika. She was this sweet little girl with the prettiest eyes. She was four. Over the years she grew into this beautiful young lady. I often wonder why the Lord works the way he does, but I know He has His reasons. Please take care of yourselves and the ones around you. Take comfort in knowing that the day will come when we will see her again and she will be smiling and waiting for us with open arms. I love you guys.

Sincere Condolescences to Danika's family. My granddaughter Taijah is in the choir with Danika and said you were a wonderful singer and a beautiful person. Taijah said you were kind to everyone and had your own special style. Heaven must've badly needed another singing angel to take you away so soon from your family. You will be missed!

Ugh ! why you ? why ??? forever through out my life I live I will always ask "why you " ? If I was there it wouldnt happen. Or I would of jumped in there with you and get hurt instead of you and me dieing. I don't feel like myself no more Danika . You took my heart with you... this has affected my life badly. So bad..
