Grace Intravia was born on Feb 8, 1923 to Andrea and Roselia in San Jose.
She was married to Hank Caputo for 70 years until his passing in 2012.
Grace was an avid gardener. People would stop to admire her work. She was a member of ICF, and Italian American Heritage.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Kathy and her partner, Dee; her son, Hank Jr and his wife, Patti; her grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Ashlea, and Marc.
Funeral Services to be held on Fri, Oct 11, at St. Martin of Tours 200 O'Connor Dr, San Jose. Visitation from 9:30-11am. Mass at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to Vitas Hospice.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Dear Hank, Patti and the boys and Kathy, Dee , I am so sorry for your loss especially since it was so close to the passing of your father. I hope you know how I felt and feel about your mother as well as your dad. I will miss her phone calls and talks, deeply. As well as missing your dad's (Mellowed with age) humor.
The new owners of her home will have some major gardening shoes to fill. In the almost 50 years I have know your family I don't think I have ever seen a weed or a leaf out of place.
She will forever be in my heart and memories.
By the way Hank, in 1973 your parents were absolutely correct, I was a bad influence on you. Proof wisdom comes with age.
