Lisa R. Hunter passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, September 27, 2012.
Lisa was born in New Jersey and grew up in Ohio, graduating from Medina Senior High School in Medina, OH and the University of Akron. She worked in the financial services industry, devoting many years to Ascend Advisory Group in Dublin, OH. Lisa moved to San Jose in 2006 to be closer to her son, and leave the Ohio winters.
Elise (Lisa) Margaret Roth was born on July 16, 1953 to George and Anita Roth in Teaneck, NJ. She married James Hunter on November 24, 1973 in Medina, OH and gave birth to her beloved son, Benjamin Graham Hunter on September 27, 1975.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Jim Hunter and her parents, George and Anita Roth.
She is survived by her son, Ben; his partner, Michael Thompson and their Great Dane, Eva. She is also survived by her loyal companion, Fred the pug. Lisa was blessed with many siblings and is survived by her sisters, Barbara Fallaw (Lindsay), Mary Lou Elliot, Jenni Robertson (Jim), and Amy Coyne (Ron); and brothers, George Roth (Leah), and Matthew Roth.
She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and her time on earth was far too short. She will be deeply missed.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date in Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, who provided tremendous care and support during the last days of her life.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that she was deeply loved by my father Lindsay Fallaw and step mother Bobbie. You are going to be missed!
