Lyn - I didn't know "Grampa" well but I feel I knew him from the few times we met and from all the conversations with Danielle. I know he was a wonderful man and I'm sure he will be missed. Keep the good memories with you always and that will help get you through. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Memories of my Dad come flooding into my mind. My brain just seems to ramble with memories of him from when we were young till just before he died. This little story makes me smile. This was right before he was admitted into the hospital. The day was October 27th 2012.I was staying over night at my folks house. I had hurt myself and was unable to go home because I could barely move. We had a birthday party for my Daughter Danielle and Granddaughter Kehaulani. So it was a good day. All except that by the end of it I could not move. My Mom,Dad and I were sitting on the couch in the Sun room watching TV. Now you have to know my Father at this point is blind and my Mother because of Chemo has no feeling in her feet. So needles to say they move very slow. So here I am telling them to slow down so I can give them a kiss good-night. They were barley moving and we all burst out laughing. I have to say that my father never lost his since of humor through this whole thing. Everything that he and my Mother were going through they did with poise. What a good sport my Dad was to go through this slow loss of life and pretty much never complain. Always had smiles and hugs for us. My Mother did everything she could to keep life for the both of them comfortable. She is amazing. I am so grateful for my family and the love we share. Please if you read this share some good memories that you have with my family. Big Hugs, Lyn

Ed will always be in my heart, he is one of the best. I remember how he always commented on my "red" hair.
You are and always will be my children's Uncle Ed. Love you Big Ed.
