Coach Swift was one of my high school mentors. A lot of times I didn't like what he had to say (and I let him know that), but then days or weeks later I'd go back to him and tell him he was right more times than not. Heaven has gained an angel - he'll be sure and keep them all in shape, to!

TO COACH SWIFT HE TRULY TOUCHED ALOT OF LIVES AT NMHS. HE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN OR MISSED. FOR HIS LEGACY HAS TOUCHED ALL OF OUR LIVES IN ONE WAY SHAPE OR FORM. TO SOME OF US YOU ARE ONLY FATHER FIGURE OR EVER MALE ROLE MODEL. YOU TRULY KEPT US ON TRACK SO WE WOULDNT MESS UP. YOU ARE A GREAT TEACHER, MENTER AND EDUCATOR.YOU DEFINETLY A MAN OF FAITH,WISDOM AND DEDICATION IN DOING GOD'S WORK. HE PUSHED YOU TO DO YOUR BESTAND EXPECTED NO LESS FROM YOU. WE TRULY LOVE YOU COACH WITH ALL OF OUR HEARTS. MAY YOU REST WITH THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN NOW. MAY GOD BLESS YOU FOREVERMORE.

My deepest sympathy to Coach Swifts family. Coach you are so admired by so many for all the wonderful things you have done. You have stayed in all our hearts & will continue to do so. Rest peacefully you are with the angels.

Swifty you will forever hold a piece of my heart! I am so honored to have crossed your path 30+ years ago. You have been a coach, teacher, mentor, father figure and most of all a friend to so many of us. And most of us are all better people because of you! I will forever hold all of the memories we have shared over the years close and dear to my heart! I love you Swifty. RIP
