The news of Sherry's passing brought great heartache to myself, as a student of hers, I was able to enjoy the wonderful joy that she always brought to a room. Words cannot express the sorrow I have for her family and everyone else who was blessed enough to know such an incredible woman. Sherry's smile was infectious, and her dedication to her career was inspiring, I could not imagine having a better teacher and mentor to continue my education. My heart goes out to her family, who I am sure are as wonderful as she is.

We are praying for comfort for the family and for all who knew Sherry, her son and daughter-in-law, her husband, Jeff, and his parents Naomi and Hal. Prayers are offered for all of those who have been impacted by this overwhelming event.
