Dear Janie Longman's family,

I am Karen, the Sister of Karl Brajenovich, who is buried next to Janie Longman. I was at the cemetery today visiting Karl. He has been gone a year today, 11/01/2017. It has been less than a month for you all, and I can imagine how tough life is. Karl also died suddenly, which made it that much more difficult for us to handle his death, and I'm thinking the same for your family. Karl was also a family guy with kids. His daughter first noticed that Janie had be laid to rest next to Karl, and was happy he had company:-) My deepest condolences to your family. If you in some way want to connect, please call me at 408-712-1248. Peace and love to your family <3

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Janie. She was truly one of kind and like a second mom to me. She was always welcoming, kind, patient, funny and honest. I followed you from home to home to home...wherever you moved...I was there. She would let me eat her food, watch tv, pick cherries, talk about boys, play in her backyard, make big piles of leaves to jump into, and tell me to put my shoes on, wash my hands and not touch the walls. Truly like a mom to me. My fondest memories with Janie are just sitting in the kitchen talking and laughing with Kim and Wendy. And I'll always remember every night at 10:00, she would call for the cat. 10 o'clock on the dot, Scamper, Scamper.

Rest in Peace Sweet Janie. My deepest sympathies to the whole family. Love you lots.
