Meridian, Idaho, Formerly of Half Moon Bay
Jerry Donovan, longtime resident of Half Moon Bay, passed away in Meridian Idaho on July 8, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.
He served his country in the US Army and as a San Francisco Police Officer for 30 years. He also served as a Councilmember and Mayor of Half Moon Bay, Boardmember of Half Moon Bay Fire Protection District, and Director of the Coastside County Water District.
Jerry is predeceased by his first wife, Felicia. He is survived by his wife, Demery and her son, Michael Culum and his family; sons Sean, his wife Shannon, and Travis; sister Leone Van Leeuwen; 13 grandchildren; and many loving friends.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 14 from 5:00 – 8:30pm at Miller-Dutra Coastside Chapel in HMB. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 15 at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Pillar Church, 400 Church St, HMB. Interment will follow at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo, CA.
In lieu of flowers, you may send donations to Girls Softball, PO Box 707, HMB, CA 94019, in the name of Jerry Donovan.

I never got to work with Jerry, he retired from the Hondells just before I got there. But that didn't mean I did not know about Jerry...he's a Honda legend and will be definitely missed. RIP
