John Charles Dubus Resident of Daly City Born February 28, 1930 in Bernardsville, New Jersey to John Joseph Dubus and Elizabeth Emily Dubus (Kocsis). Deceased August 19, 2013. Graduated from Bernardsville High School in 1948. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from August 5, 1948 until April 1, 1952. He was a member of the California National Guard and served from 1953 until 1970, retiring at the rank of Captain. He worked for Pacific Telephone and Telegraph as a technician for 30 years. He was married to Alma Francis Dubus (deceased). He has one son John Steven Dubus, originally of Daly City, California, now living in Crestview, Florida. He is married to Salvacion Binas Dubus and they have one child, a daughter named Jazrelle Samantha Dubus. He attended Our Lady of Mercy Church in Daly City, California. He belonged to the American Legion Post 509 in San Bruno, CA. He enjoyed spending time and being an active member in several clubs and organizations in the Bay Area that supported his hobby. He had many friends and gave of his time to help others with the same interest. Friends may visit Wednesday, August 28th after 3:00pm and are invited to attend the Vigil Wednesday 7:00pm at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 11:00am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 1 Elmwood Dr., Daly City. Committal Olivet Cemetery.

John has been the most wonderful Landlord and friend over the last 18 years. I enjoyed long conversation over coffee, listening to stories about his beloved wife.
Such a wonderful and kind man. I will miss him dearly and remember him always.

Uncle Johnny - it was so great being with him in virginia just last month. he was so full of stories and it was nice just hanging out with him. He will be missed!
