Resident of San Jose
Vera Reed passed away surrounded by her family on May 28 in San Jose. She was born on January 7, 1954 in Laurel, MS.
She moved to San Jose in 1973 and married Don Reed in 1982. She worked for HP and later Agilent Technologies for 30 years.
Vera is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Don Reed; her daughter, Tess Reed; her four brothers; and many friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, June 7 at the Community Chapel, 1701 Little Orchard St, San Jose.

Vera was a great person to be around she had a wonderful personality and a laugh that was contagious. We shared many good times even though we were working hard we always took time out for fun. She will be missed for sure.
