To Sgt. Merlin German's family... My deepest sympathy to each of you. I have had Sgt. German's picture on my refrigerator for over a year now. I cut it our of the newspaper and put it there so that I would remember to breathe a prayer for him everytime I saw it, and you can imagine how often that was! I will continue to pray for not only your family but for the many families who have lost loved ones during this war, for those who continue to fight for recovery from injuries sustained while defending the right for liberty, and for those who are fighting today. Merlin may have lost this earthly battle, but he was certainly promoted to Higher Ground. God bless you...
