To the Burton's, So sorry to hear about Bruce's passing, although it has been many years since I have seen any of you I remember all of you with great fondness. I remember Bruce as a young blonde boy and found the photos of him and his resemblance to his Dad sticking. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God Bless.

Burton Family,

We are so sorry for your loss. My name is Ed and I'm the brother of Hans and Robert Vanderwaall. I knew Bruce from when we lived in Natick. And even though I was not as close to him as my brother Hans was, I just have to say that I know that he was a good man who loved his family. He called me out of the blue to talk to me about his Patriots vs. our Chargers. about 3 years ago. He loved his Patriots.
It is comforting to know that he is now in the loving arms of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and is surrounded by total peace and no more pain.
My wife Kathy and I give our condolences to your entire family. May God comfort you during this difficult time and give you the PEACE as only He can.

I am very saddened at the loss of my friend Bruce. I have known Bruce my whole life and spent much of my youth at the Burton household. I am grateful that after letting the time slip by, we re-connected again over the past few years and it was as though no time had passed at all. My family got a chance to really know Bruce and his son Spencer as well. Bruce was a great friend to all of the gang from the old neighborhood. Bruce will live on in all of our memories. Lynne, Jimmy, Mike, Meagan, Ryan and I extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Burton family.

My Dearest Mr. and Mrs. Burton and family, I thank you from the deepest part of my heart, for such a wonderful friend.
Moose. You will always be a pillar of strength, positive direction, and comedy in my life. I know you so well. On this day, if I was to focus on loss and sadness, I would let you down. On this day, if I focus and reflect on your fortitude, respect, family love, humor, care, honesty, and hope -- than I am living with what you stand for. Even during this time, you generate strength and love in all of us. Myself, Patches, Coonce, Doug and You were a team. I love you, and I will continue to apply all you have taught me in our 52 year friendship. Memories never fade.
