A a student in high school and college I worked at Suburban Stationers in Metro Square. I have fond memories of Mr. Hurlbert coming in the store to buy his numerous greeting cards to send to family and friends. Not only would he share family stories, but he would always ask how my studies were going as I was studying to be an elementary school teacher. I was sorry to read about his passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

We are so sad to hear of the passing of Neal. He was a great neighbor and will greatly be missed.
Rest in Peace
I looked forward to our talks as he walked down Fowler Ave. Neals first date with Elsie was babysitting me across the street from her house. He was a great guy to talk with, very proud of all his "kids". He will be missed by many. A true gentleman.
God Bless him and Elsie as they spend eternity together.
Neal was a long time friend of mine and my late Husband , "Budge",-with sympathy, Terry Maltese and girls.
I worked with Neal at CVH he was a warm and kind person He had a special place in my heart , I feel Blessed to have known him.
Uncle Neal I will always remember how kind and gentle you always were. You ended every talk we had with I love you. Till we meet again, I love you.
I was very saddened to read of Neal"s passing. Neal was such a kind and gentle soul. I met Neil in '1981, when I started my employment at CVH.. Neal was ever so patient even with the most difficult situation. Anyone would have been proud to have worked with Neal.
My peace of contentment is that now Neal has joined the "love of his life," his wife Elsie. They went and did everything together.
REST IN PEACE Neal. God bless.
