Just learned of Jim's passing. My wife & I met Jim during the Portland FD 100th anniversary and his subsequent visits to our fire department in Portland, Pa. Rest in peace brother fireman.

I was so sad to hear of Jimmys' passing, I enjoyed knowing him from childhood at the Speedbowl, socializing for years as my children enjoyed the cottage and being able to help when he came to the hospital. Such a wonderful man who will truly be missed. My prayers to his family.

Jimmy was always a great man, always willing to tell me stories about him and my Dad racing in Waterford, how he remembered me when I was in diapers, etc. Honest heart and just a great man. He will be missed.
