Not sure what to say?

I'm only reading this obituary now for the first time about Sutzie's death. He was a close friend of my father Dick Daly and they were both avid golfers who played together frequently at Edgewood Country Club of Cromwell in 1950s 1960s and 70s.
I remember Sutzie as an always gracious gentleman with an easy smile that was often accompanied by a kind word. Later in life I would see him on the road frequently and I admired his passion for running. He was quite the athlete but more so an admirable kind hearted classy gentleman! Rest In Peace Sutzie.

I am heartbroken to read of Sutzie's passing- I thought he would live forever-
I met him in the 1960's, when I was an office nurse for Dr. Felix Sheehan - He would come into the office impecibly dressed, with a smile and there was never enough time to say all we wanted to say.
He was charismatic, kind, generous to all-
Though the years, I loved running into him at various events or just at Stop & Shop!
He will be missed by so many.
My most sincere sympathy to you- his beautiful family. He loved you so much...
God bless you all.

My condolences to the entire Newberg family on the loss of its patriarch and beloved uncle, Sutsie Newberg. I lost a great friend. Sutzie and I jogged together almost daily starting in 1972 and continuing until he was in his late 70's. I learned a lot from him about the important things in life. He was devoted to his religion and his family. As soft spoken and easy going as he was, he never hesitated to defend them both against anyone who dared to malign or misspeak about either. He was a very private person but was always willing to help or give advise to anyone who sought it from him. Throughout the years we had many, many good times together. I will miss him dearly. It seems odd to say that someone who lived to be 97 years old died too young. But in Sutzie's case it is true. He was very proud of his nieces and nephews exalting in all of your individual successes. I am sure you were all equally as proud of him. My deepest condolences to you. Sincerely,Phil Karpel
