One of the most helpful and kind people I have ever known.
Just was thinking of Dan and what a great guy he was. We miss him, as I am sure everyone who was graced with his presence.
I first met Dan in early 2010 on a Liko training trip to Franklin. It was a cold, winter day, but Dan was full of life and I was captivated by his presence from the start. Then, at several Liko events, I got to see him a few more times, and he was always such a delight to be around. He had a soothing way at looking at things, and explaining things to anyone around him. He is surely missed, and I know he is having a great time whereever he is now. My thoughts are with his family at this time of great loss.
Thinking of you and your family during this time of sorrow, and praying that the lord may ease your grief.
Our sincerest sympathies for your loss.
Such a tragic loss! It was a pleasure working with Dan over the past 4 years while my facility was installing the Liko Lift Systems. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and coworkers during this time!
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
To the Gilmore Family.

Dan, Joyce, Lauren and Patrick,
Words cannot express the void that the "Liko family" is feeling. We share in your loss. Dan always wore a smile, shared funny, animated stories and always offered to help with the slightest thing. He truly was a giving person as he would always close each conversation with "if I can help you in anyway, just let me know". We all have lost a great person.
Dan I wish I could have seen you with your wife and children, I know you are a great husband & dad. You were a close friend during the twilight of my youth- thanks for all the beautiful memories. You are a lion of a man. My love and prayers to theGilmore
To Joyce and the Gilmore Family,
We are sending our deepest sympathy to all of you. Dan holds a special place in the hearts of his LPN classmates of BVT 2012.
Dan was a gentle giant with a heart as big as he was. He shared his knowledge, humor and support with all of us.
A great role model for the class, always accepting a challange with a smile and determination.
He loved to talk about his kids, and often mentioned how proud he was that his mother was on the BVT, LPN advisory board. The program meant a great deal to both of them.
We will miss our gentle giant, our friend, our classmate. May you rest in peace. Dan you will not be forgotten. We will miss you.

I served with Dan on the Millville Conservation Commission. We attended training together and he always made a day of sometimes dry subject matter fun and interesting. He organized Millville's annual Earth Day events and instilled the values of environmental stewardship to our children. He was so proud of Patrick and his class for documenting Millville's first vernal pool. He was a dedicated, objective and respected Chairman of our Conservation Commission. His passing is a great loss for our little town.
