Jodi and Tracy, you and yours have my deepest sympathy. My father and your father worked together and I remember several family get-to-gethers. Rick is reunited with his beloved parents and may be rest in peasce.

Rick Majerus made my college experience wonderfull. I am so thankful for all the games I was able to attend with my father and friends. I always have enjoyed going to the games, but when Coach Majerus was there it was very special. Thank you Coach Majerus for adding to my life experience.

Jodi and Tracy--Your brother was an amazing man who touched the lives of many people in an out of basketball. I grew up in Wisconsin but moved to Utah the same year Rick did. I had an office in 'his' hotel, and was privileged to be his friend. He spoke so frequently of you, Tory and Kelly and his Mom.

Rick was really something special. While many will remember him as a brilliant coach, his legacy encompasses the tremendous impact he had people. He challenged them to think-- he made them laugh--and when they weren't looking, he did something wonderful for them.

Coach Rick - the best job I had was working for you as your Personal Assistant from 1984 - 1986. We remained very close friends throughout all the years. You helped me with getting the interview at Martin Marietta in Orlando, FL. When you came to Las Vegas, it was awesome to go to lunch or dinner with you when your schedule allowed. You will be missed but will remain forever in our hearts. My condolences to your family and friends. I have a passion for long distance running so I am dedicating my 2013 season in your honor and hopefully to raise money for the Majerus Foundation. Rest in Peace. You are with your mom and dad now.
