Aunt Lolly will be sorely missed. She was always there for my mother, Betty Reed Hughes, and was an inspiration for all. I remember one time when she was visiting with her son, Bobby, in the Washington, DC area. Aunt Lolly was frustrated because she was accustomed to reading the daily newspaper cover to cover each day but, the Washington Post was too big to finish! Her heart and home were always welcoming to everyone. She will be in my thoughts and prayers forever.

I have known and loved my aunt Lolly for all my life. It was an honor, a privilege and a blessing to see her at her hundreth birthday party. She has been a rock of my southern kin. She always welcomed my wife and I when we were able to come south and visit. My wife loved all my kin and felt loved by all them especially Aunt Lolly. I am confident that Maryanne, Aunt Lolly, Bobbie, Texie and all the rest are having a great time together again. If all them Reed kids get together up there I would say lookout. But Realmama is there to greet them and she will keep them in line. Aunt Lolly pray for those of us still here and all the rest of our family pray for us. Being that today is All Saints Feast, all of you Saints in heaven pray for us. God bless all my family. The pain of loss is among us, but we will meet again.
