I will always cherish the many years we had together; you were a blessing to all who knew you, and to hundreds that you served who never did know you. Rest in peace, Blanche, and tell PawPaw to behave! Love, John
Linda, what a great heritage to have a Christian Mom. She must have been a genuine lady. She has reached perfection as she safely arrived in her heavenly home. What a wonderful thought. She is hearing "whispers of love" from the Father. God sustains us, comforts us and give us peace. I will claim that for you during this time of change. (Melita D. Browning) Nashville, TN
I will miss you dearly, Aunt Blanche, but I know you are now at peace and once again surrounded by your sisters and your mother. Much love and god speed.
Linda: I have fond memories of your mother from Plateau 1st Baptist. She was always kind and gracious. God Bless you and your family.
Linda, Gary, Keiron & Jason,
Reading the write up and seeing the photos brings back so many memories of my 'second Mom'. We spent so much time together growing up, that is what she was to me. Our Mothers were the backbone of our families - they saw to it that we were brought up in the church, made sure we learned how to cook. The essential task of a 'southern lady' was to serve her guests in style! We could never go into your home without Aunt Blanche making sure we had plenty to eat! And she was a good cook too!
I know you're going to miss her greatly, but as I found out, the peace that came over you will last. She is whole again, rejoicing at the reunion she's sharing in Heaven with all those she loved who went before. We have our memories and they will remind us of the love we shared with our Mothers.
My only regret is that I cannot be with you at this time. I would love to give you a big hug, and just sit and hold your hand recalling our childhood memories. We will get to do this though, hopefully one day soon. Till then, you know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Love you!
Before my husband passed away 3 years ago, he was a volunteer at the LSOP and had the pleasure of taking Mrs. Cook to the doctor several times - probably eye doctor. I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you what a delightful lady she was to my husband and he always had such nice things to say about her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed, rest in peace, amen.

It is good to know that your mother is in the arms of the Lord. May the Holy Spirit comfort you and your family during this time.
Linda, I am so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. May you be comforted in knowing where she is now and that her memory will live on in your heart! Love and prayers.
