I'm so sorry, Mary. Margaret was always so very sweet, caring and loving...our hearts are saddened but her loving spirit remains within us. My prayers are with you and all the family. Love, your cousin, Marge

We were very sorry to learn of Margaret Fillingim's passing and would like to offer our sincerest condolences to her family. She was a dear friend and highly respected member of the South Alabama Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America. Margaret always gave of herself and did all she could to support others. May she find peace and joy in Heaven and may God comfort the hearts of those who will miss her.

As requested in her obituary, in lieu of flowers we will be making a donation in her memory to the Bay Area Food Bank.

With sincerest sympathy,

Jim and Nina Eubanks

Cousin Margaret was always gracious Southern lady - the rare one who could find a little sunlight in just about any cloud. She was so hospitable and welcomed me frequently to Sunday dinner while I was a student at Spring Hill College. A generous, Christian spirit was evidenced by the way she lived her life. We shared a lot about genealogy and our common heritage. My father, Edward C. Duncan Jr., and I had a wonderful visit with her and Mary in the spring. We'll miss her dearly.
