I just heard the bad news...omg, I can't believe it! I am so saddened to hear she lost the battle; I really enjoyed her friendship. She was my daughters kindergarten teacher in 1993....and then became my other 2 kids teachers as well in 2003-2004. She was such a special person, taught kids in such a special way that no child felt they could not learn. She gave so much love, she had so much passion for teaching and I trully enjoyed having conversations with her everytime I would be in the school premises. Words can't not explain how sad I feel today!!! She will most definately have a special place in our hearts....

My mom, Suzanne Dooley, just told me the news. Very sorry to hear of her passing. Dorothy was my after school care 30 years ago. Many memories of her picking my sister and I up in her station wagon. I remember her smile and loving heart, and her family Christmas letter. I also remember going to VBS with her girls.

I would just like to say I loved Mrs. Fox and respected her and trusted her from day one with my daughter Kelsey Ross in her Kindergarden class. Because of her kindness, gentleness, and desire to teach, my daughter eagerly faced each day with excitement for learning all throughout her school years. Thank you to her Family for sharing her with her many students and Modesto City Schools. She is forever in our hearts!!! Continue to spread the love!

I remember Mrs. Fox as my kindergarten teacher also. She was the best teacher I have ever had. I will never forget when she sprinkled the "Love" can on to all of us young children... "See you all tomorrow, I love you" I am now going to be a Junior in High School. I have came and visited her with my little brother. In 2012 last year. That was the last time. & ill never forget on how she was so surprised "Omg you two kids have became so beautiful & handsome" I love you Dorothy Fox. I will never forget you. You have touched all of our hearts with love & joy. I'm glad I got to see you one last time. R.I.P & you will never be forgotton. Save a spot for me when its my turn. Ill see you <3

I had mrs fox as my kindergarten teacher and Iam now 21, I remember her sprinkling "love" on us and all of the songs we would sing. She was always smiling and so happy she really was the best teacher I ever had! May she sleep with the angels and my condolences go out to her family and friends! God bless
