Rick - so sorry to hear about your Dad.
we were on vacation. what sad news to come home to. may the lord bless and comfort all the faily
What a wonderful man, neighbor, and friend. Louis was always welcoming and never boastful. He was kind, willing to do what he could for you, and just thinking of him put a smile on our faces. He had a certain twinkle in his eye and his distinct southern accent was part of his charm. Our small Modesto neighborhood "family" was complete because Louis and Darlene were part of it. It was sad to leave it. We are blessed to have known Louis Howard, and are proud to have called him our friend. He will be missed.
Prayers for peace and comfort for all of you. We have many fond memories of times with your family. May God bless and comfort you all.
So sorry to hear of Bro Howard's passing. Loved him & the family too, miss you all. We will be praying for Sis Darlene & the family.
Louis was a blessed "acquired" in-law. He and Darlene became instant "family". I remember sitting quietly with him at a family function just sharing about the summer garden or some such thing. ALL his attention was on what I was saying. I know he was like that with everyone. The other person he was with was ALWAYS the most important person in the room. His life; always walking the walk not just talking the talk was and is a lesson for us all. He will be greatly missed here on this earth, but Heaven is so much more graced by his presence. We all know those Angels had to learn how to whip up his special tacos for his homecoming. God bless all the family and friends. We all know Louis was by the side of Steven and Rick at a most deserving memorial.
Howard family, I want to send prayers and love your way. Louis, was so kind to my Dad Donald and to all of my family. He was kind, helpful and I loved his smile. Peace to all of you , Louis was a great man
One of the things I will miss about my Grandpa "Louie" is the way he patted you on the back when he hugged you. It was a machine-gun like pat because he was so happy to see you. Miss you Grandpa, Till we meet again. - "Robby"
What a wonderful man who leaves an impressive legacy- in his church, family, friends, and his great name that people will never forget. Thank you, Bro. Louis, for being a kind, funny, loving, Godly man. You touched my life in many ways, and I am more thankful now for the promise of Heaven than ever!
I will miss you dearly. I have so many wonderful memories that will stay with me forever. You always had a smile and something funny to say. You led your life by example. Always a strong will and such a love for The Lord. I thank you for giving your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren such a firm foundation. You never wavered in your thinking. Once you set your mind on something, it was done. Love and miss you so much grandpa. Hopefully we'll all see you in heaven!
Rick and all the family: My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Grandpa, you were the BEST example to me in many ways. The best man I knew, the best husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, most importantly the best man of God I knew. Just because I was no longer a member of this family, that did not stop you or grandma from loving me just the same. I will miss you until I see your sweet face again. Thank you for being a huge part of my life, of my childrens lives and my new family's life as well. We love you papa ?
I will miss Bro. Howards amazing smile. His gentle spirit and steadfast faith will be greatly missed.
You were the best Grandpa and Papa any of us could ever ask for. You gave us all unconditional love and great Godly advice. I will miss you everyday but know that Heaven has gained a wonderful man. Love you Grandpa!
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
I have many fond memories of Louis. He was a great friend and an inspiration to me. Always a smile on his face and encouraging words of wisdom every time I saw him. He will be missed. My prayers are with his wonderful family at this difficult time.
