James "Jim" Vella

Jim was A John Wayne to many and was always their to assist and guide you wheather catching a fish or stacking an Elk, He was "CLASS" And God now has a Class Act in Heaven! Great Man we will miss you Pilgrim!

To the boys, I'm so very, very sorry for the passing of a dear Dad like Jimmy. To my Dad who lost his best friend, I'm so sorry.

Jimmy was a person you couldn't help but love with his quiet manner and laid back kind heart. I will forever cherish the memory of he and Dad having supper in on our home on Ladd one evening! It was fun! I will also miss knowing he is puttering around the place on Dale or the cabin in the mtns. or chatting with my Dad on hunting trips from here to Africa.

I hope your Christmas eve's with my Dad will continue for years to come and will lift your spirits with a jolly "Ho, Ho, Ho!"

Jim was upbeat and an asset to any gathering. It was a priviage to be included in Vella's Chirstmas Eve with Santa Jim.

I use to run into Jim at Harveys' resteraunt in Salida. He was a hard working man who was cheerful and always had a kind word to say. May the good lord bless !!

He had a special way of making people feel like they were one in a million. He will truly be missed!
