Henry Allen Swisegood, Jr., a longtime Modesto resident was born in Portland, Oregon, and died at home on Sat., Nov. 23rd.
Henry retired from E&J Gallo Winery in 2005 after 36 years of service. He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed fishing, camping & hiking.
Survived by his wife of 48 years, Marcia Swisegood; 2 sons, John (Monica) Swisegood and Mark (Liz) Swisegood; daughter, Jennifer (Troy) de la Motte; 3 brothers, Richard, Gailerd and Jack Swisegood; 5 grandchildren, Kyle, Madeline, and J.T. Swisegood, Brooke & Henry de la Motte.
Private interment.

Henry will be missed , he was a very smart individual who i and all of Gallo Maintenence respected very much. He gave me a good start in life and hired me when i was kid as a entry level maintenance mechanic.
