Joe had a great impact on my life, and I am sure that there are many that feel the same way. As a younger man, Joe gave so much of his time and energy to the kids of Livingston and provided a constructive outlet for our free time and energy. That outlet for me was baseball....and my second home was the ballpark. I will always fondly remember those fun-packed days of summer spent with Joe.

Joe had a great impact on my life and so many others; I think that there are many that will agree with me. As a young man, he gave so much of himself to help so many of us find an outlet for our time and energy. For me, as with so many others, that outlet was baseball...and our second home was the ballpark. I will always remember with great happiness the days of summer spent with Joe.

Joe Alvernaz had a great impact on my life, and I am sure there are many others out there that feel the same. His efforts as a younger man allowed me and so many others to spend our time on the ballfield rather than some other place where we might have gotten into trouble. I will always remember with great happiness the days of summer spent with Joe at the ballpark.
Thank you, Joe.

He will be fondly remembered. An amazing man.

We are remembering many things as we reflect on our contacts with Joe. One is when asking him "how are you?" he would always reply "fine and dandy". He was an encouraging person.
