Deepest Sympathy to Dayton Family...My husband and I first met John when we moved to Knights Ferry in 82. Back then there were no drive-thru drug stores so we went to Johns store on F St. as most everyone else did. Was sorry when he closed that business. In the last couple of yrs. prior to my husbands death he was so very kind to us and even delivered meds. to our home when we were unable to go into town. May we all remember him fondly. God Bless. John was also my first boss when I was 16. I guess he couldn't keep me away, as I worked for him again at the age of 31 for another 5 years. He always appreciated my hard work and gave me a wonderful going away party when I moved out of town. We met up again after my divorce and spoke about me working for him again, only now marketing his Oakdale Pharmacy. John was a very kind, sweet and fair boss. My heart goes out to his family?? He was a wonderful man!
