Bob, you were a great man, father, son, friend, and co-worker. He was PROUD to be a deputy with the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department. A job that a lot of people fail to appreciate. Bob you were a true stand-up guy who worked hard as a public servant. I worked with Bob on Patrol and at the Police Academy. We met during our swearing in to Patrolmen. What I can say about him is that he epitomized what the term “Peace Officer” meant. His family loved him, his friends loved him, the public loved him, and his coworkers loved him. He was an upstanding Deputy both on and off the clock. He set great examples for the rest of us to follow. He believed in his job, as well, he believed in his community. He always pursued the right line of action and always took extra steps to make sure victims were taken care of. He never discriminated and he always listened. Bob, you will be missed by so many! Where ever your next journey starts, remember that you blazed a path for the rest of us to follow. You have saved the lives of countless people and have protected so many more. Rest now my friend, your work here is done. You left us too soon, but know that you did not die in vain. You have touched the hearts and lives of so many. We love you! We will miss you! My heart goes out to your beautiful family! We will pray for them everyday. PEACE!!
