My Uncle Ike was a strong, smart, and caring man. I have wonderful memories throughout my life of him. Thank you Jo for being the loving wife you have always been. I will miss him greatly.

"Ike" was a very special man, a kind and loving man, who never yelled, always cared, was very smart but never bragged. He always said he wanted to experience each phase of life, and to live until he was old, and he did just that. He was my perfect person. Love never dies but goes on forever. I will love "Ike" forever. Jo

Dear Jo, I hope you find comfort on what a great love you two had together. I know you will miss him always. I am so very grateful to have had such a wonderful father-in-law. He was such a kind heart and a beautiful soul. I will miss him always as well. Love to you, Tina

Ike was my late brother Bill's best friend from the time they met at Glenbard High School in 1943 when our family moved to Glen Ellyn west of Chicago. I was Bill's younger brother bt 13 years but Ike was another big brother to me always friendly to a fault when he came over to see Bill orgo somewhere with him on one of their many adventures. When Bill was killed in a traffic accident in San Diego in 1953 he came to see my parents immediately. I reconnected with Ike thru letters and phone calls in the '90s and we enjoyed a wonderful friendship that way especially when he told all the things I as a boy did not or could not know about Bill. Ike was a great friend and yes, like your niece, I remember that house he built i Glen Ellyn. He was quite a craftsman and gentleman.

Jo, through Kyle, I have learned so very much about both yourself & Ike. Your loving tender care is remarkable! I know Ike will be terribly missed by all of you. Karen Rodriguez
