You were the best rail I worked with.

Oh Marvin, you will be missed. You truly have touched the lives of so many. I agree with Gil, I think he nailed it. You were a strange and difficult one, until you let all that "what the ?" go and just get to know you. You had one of the kindest hearts and honest as the day is long. You are one of the few who sincerely danced as if no one was watching. Just being you no matter where you were or who was around. Glad that you suffer no more, but my heart just aches for those you leave behind. I hope that the tears of sorrow are replaced with wonderful memories to make your hearts smile. I love you all. My thoughts and prayers today and always. Much love ~ The Pierson family

The service was wonderful. One of the best I have been to. Marvin' wife and kids did a fantastic job. Lots of hard work went into it and I am so thankful for what they put into it. I know it wasn't easy on them. Thanks for everything. We love you, Darlene

We will miss Uncle Marvin very much... Before he retired from the Railroad he would call me in the middle of the night and ask "What are you doing" and I would tell him I'm working on a broke jet.. I'd say what are you doing? "I'm sittin in this damned train" lol I will miss calls from Marvin and we will all miss him so much..

We love you Uncle Marvin!
