Hello Chito,
It has been awhile since I talked to you on Legacy. I missed your anniversary day and wishing you a birthday wish yesterday. It has been a bit over 7 years since you have been gone. :(
I hope you have been celebrating the special occasions and then some with friends and family who have either joined you or was already there when you arrived.
Since last time I wrote you RBY moved to Hawaii and Faith and Anatol had a beautiful baby girl. Her name is Linnaea Orielle.
Our family keeps growing and growing.
Although I haven't seen or talked to the parents since August I know Mom is getting better but having a difficult time walking straight. Uncle retired from his third job and has been ill. It seems his vision is getting worse and he has been having kidney problems.
In fact today is their anniversary.
Please know that you are still missed and loved.
Love From Your sister,
Ligaya

Hello Chito,
Just wanted to let you know that Floater went to heaven yesterday. I remember you enjoyed the videos of her and Scooby when we would come visit and she would run around the parents back yard.
Do you think you could watch over Floater for me? I really would appreciate it. Thank you.
Love,
Ligaya

Dear Chito,
I was enjoying the solitude of the morning and remembered had the cancer not taken you from us you would have been 52 tomorrow.
So much has happened since you've been gone:
Mom had a stroke in 2011 and has been making a slow but remarkable recovery.
Dad Chito (I now call him that because he is the only dad I have left) is slowing down and has been ill on and off. In fact, he is thinking of retiring from his current job. Can you believe that when he does retire from his current job that will be a total of three retirements for him?
There have been two marriages. In 2009 Faith and Anatol got married. You would have liked Anatol as he has a sense of humor similar to yours. Both Faith and Anatol are working at the Gladstone Research at UCSF both are Professors there. In 2011 Brandon and Rachel got married. Rachel works for two doctors and Brandon is one the top certified mechanics at Nissan and is working on a Bachelor's degree.
There have been three additions by birth to our family. Yeardley and Eric had a son in 09/13/2007 his name is Madden and very smart. Jayden Valentino Romero (Rod's grandson) was born to Mai and Jose on May 10, 2012 and the second baby Emily Gee Ibanez (Angela's grand daughter) was born to Rachel and Brandon on May 25, 2012. Our family is now at five generations. Woohoo!
All your nieces and nephews have grown up to be fine adults and their children are following in their footsteps
Robert moved to the PI's August of this year and loving it. Robert left behind some things for me to give away and one of them was his guitar. I gave that to Madden and he loves it. Randy says he is doing well with it. Who knows we may have another talented guitarist in our family.
And..... last but not least but most important of all - our parents were given a puppy in 2010. Santino is their pride and joy, their baby and they take him everywhere they go and he is soooo spoiled. Santino is a pomeranian poodle mix and they just love him. It only took less than a month when he went from sleeping on the floor in their room to sleeping with them. LOL Santino was also instrumental in Mom's remarkable recovery. When they transferred her from the hospital to the rehab facility we able to bring Santino everyday to Mom and while there he would sleep with her eat when she ate and when he would go for his walks she would watch from her window.
I wish you were here to see all this but I know you are watching everything from heaven and that you are with all of us in spirit as Santino will sometimes sit and stare at your picture in the family room and occasionally bark in what I call a talking bark.
Please know that you are missed and loved by all of us.
Have a wonderful birthday. :)
Love from your sister, Ligaya
