WILDER, ID – Earl Dewayne Brickman, 72, formerly of Pacific Grove, CA, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at home of natural causes.
Earl was born on April 30, 1942 in Pacific Grove, to Benjamin and Elvina Brickman. He worked for the City of Pacific Grove in the sanitation and the parks department. Earl retired from Monterey Peninsula Unified School District in 2002.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-parents. Earl is survived by his wife of 46 years, Hope M. Brickman; brothers, Vern (Marilee) Brickman of Salinas, CA, Michael "Jim" James (Carol) Brickman of Coarsegold, CA; sister, JoAnn Stevenson of Concord, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
At his request no services will be held. Inurnment will be held later at El Carmelo Cemetery, Pacific Grove.

To: Hope and the family, your loss is mine, Earl became literally one of my brothers, when we worked together for MPUSD, I remember when his mother passed, he handled it like a true soldier, but I know it hurt a lot, Earl was always a team player, in sports, and in life, it was a pleasure to be on his team, I'm going to miss the Brick, farewell my friend, and associate rest in peace and glory...David Greenwell.
