Like many others, I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jack's untimely passing. I will always remmember the positive and humorous presence he added to any occaision.
Jack, you were a kind and wonderful man with an incredible sense of humour. I will always remember our special times together flying around Carmel in the little Piper Cub and our magical flight in the Cirrus to Lake Tahoe for breakfast. Memories you never forget. My thoughts and prayers are with Rita, Laura and Scott. God bless.
I knew Jack from my stint at HSBC - he was a great support to me personally through some very tough times, and a man whose integrity, charisma, humour, and leadership were an inspiration to many. A very sad loss - the world is poorer place without him. My thoughts are with all those whose lives he touched.
I always remember Jack enjoying his fishing at the cottage on Lake Simcoe, we still refer to the cottage as Jack's place.

Throughout our lives we have the opportunity to meet (and in my case work with) genuinely good, kind people - that would be Jack Harvey!! Jack was one of my 22 "bosses" at the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce and an absolute joy to be around. My sincere sympathy to Jack's family on their huge loss.

I'm shocked, saddened and sorry. I knew Jack had some medical problems from the chats we had over the past two years but I had no idea that his condition was this serious. I wish I had visited him last winter.
Laura and Scott, please accept my condolences. I'm so very sorry!
We used to call each other on our own birthdays - that way, we'd never forget.

I worked with Jack on many projects at Household and HSBC. He was my favorite executive! He was always caring and supportive! Down to earth with work / life balance ! He always made me laugh and smile! I will miss you jack! Thank you for the direction and lessons! My prayers and wish for peace go out to your family and friends! A great man that will be missed. Rest in peace.
I had the good fortune to work w/ Jack in the late 80's, early 90's @ Household. He was a funny, compassionate, extremely insightful boss from whom I learned a great deal. He was a great listener and always was able to keep whatever the crisis of the moment was in perspective, a lesson most of us take a long time to learn. He also got my wife & I our 1st dog, Josey, the best dog I've ever had! I'm a better human being for having known you, Jack. I still savor so many great memories from the brief time we worked together....
Rita, Laura, Scott, A great man has left us to work behind the scenes. We will not forget him.
As one of Jack's previous neighbors up on Lake Simcoe, we have missed them since they moved however this news was so unbelievable. Jack was a great guy and our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

What an incredibly sad time for your family. Once again, we are so very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
Jack was a great guy and even though we hadn't spoken in awhile I always considered him as a good friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to Rita, Laura and Scott.
What an incredible caring man who really wanted to make a difference. I knew of Jack while I was working in Chicago for Household International in the early 90's. It wasn't until 2005 after moving to Monterey that my husband and I had a chance to personally meet Jack and Rita through a Shoreline Community Church outreach event. Every time I would see Jack at church we would talk about the good old days of working at Household! :) Household was a good company back then. Jack will certainly be missed. Our prayers go out to his family and close friends. May peace be with you all.
I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Knowing that he is walking the streets of gold in Heaven with our Savior makes it a tad bit easier. However, He will be missed, that smile and kind word he always had to say to me in passing. We love you Jack and will miss you terribly.
As a neighbor, you were absolutely the best! We will miss your cheerful optimism and generosity with your time and ideas. You have been a remarkable role model. Go with God, my friend.

Jack was such a great person to work with. He could always make you laugh - in fact some of his pranks are legendary and are still discussed amongst us old time Household/HSBC'ers. He will be dearly missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family
Jack, you will be missed a great deal. One of the neatest guys in the world. Rita, Laura and Scott our thoughts are with you. Your Dad was so special!!
I first met Jack in 1982 when we worked together at HFC in Bridgewater NS.
Despite the geographic distance as we both moved around, Jack always made the effort to maintain the friendship.
And although Jack was always modest about his guitar playing abilities, he was actually a very creative song writer and musician.
I have always been proud of the fact that a set of five songs we co-wrote were recorded and went on to receive minor airplay and recognition in Atlantic Canada.
Jack was a wonderful and caring person and one of the greatest Jokers known at HSBC. He had a wonderful Balance of Home Life, Work Life and Enjoyment of Life. I feel very fortunate and Blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Jack and get to know him. Thoughts and memories of Jack will always bring a smile to my face. May peace be with him and may God Bless and hold his family close. My prayers go up to you all in this most difficult time. Jack was loved by all.
Blessings to all whose lives were touched by Jack.
