John Powery Obituary

Powery, Mr. John Wendell Sr., age 71, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away on September 9, 2014. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, 2 to 3 pm from Brookside Funeral Home, Millbrook, AL; with military honors. Mr. Powery served in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his sons, John W. Powery Jr. and William C. Powery. Survivors include wife, Montserrat Diaz Powery of Prattville, AL; sisters, Lula Helder of Miami, FL; Brenda Powery of Corona, CA; 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many friends. In lieu of flowers family request memorials to Alacare Hospice in his memory. Brookside Funeral Home of Millbrook, AL directing

Yes, No one's perfect. But in Jesus Christ the problem of our imperfection is remedied! For through faith in Christ we are all counted righteous before God.
My dearest brother Johnny will live on forever in my heart, until the end of time..There is not another man that had the patience like he did , nor the smile. His smile always lit up the room! And as for Humor!!! noone could hold a candle to him. So VERY MUCH MISSED, and LOVED MORE than the STARS above..Your Elder and Dearest Sister
