Rubin Jackson Obituary
Jackson, I, Mr. Rubin Hedrick, a resident of Montgomery, AL transitioned to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 3, 2015. Funeral services will be held December 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM from Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Eastwood Memorial Gardens. Rubin was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Wanda Herbert Jackson in 1986. This union was blessed with two beautiful children whom he loved dearly, Rubin H. Jackson, II and Welaundria Auriel Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents, a beloved sister, Evelyn Jackson; and his brother, Edward Jackson. He is survived by his loving wife and children; a second mother, Buna Jackson; four brothers, Dr. Amir Al-Hadid (Fatima), Nashville, TN, Nathan Jackson, Jr., Melvin C. Jackson, and John Earle Jackson; one sister, Angela L. Frazier; a mother and father-in-law, Mack and Mary Herbert; two sisters-in-law, Velinda Herbert and Carla Herbert-Lewis (Joe); two aunts, Louise Knox and Ruth Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Wanda, Rubin and Auriel, the scripture tells us to bear one another's burdens and I am certainly grieving with you. I have not seen Rubin in years, but I was there when you two(Wanda) got married.I can only imagine what you must be going through. I have prayed for you and will continue to do. My prayer is that God gives you peace in the midst of the storm. With much love and a sincere heart. Keep leaning on Jesus.

I worked with Mr. Rubin at e. R. Solutions. He was my supervisor for 2 1/2 years. it was a pleasure to work under him. He was always fair in his decisions. He was a trustworthy person and I enjoyed being there when he was there. i am sorry that i lost touch with him and hope that you will accept my condolences on your great loss. I am sure he will be missed greatly. i pray you are granted the strength to endure and that you are given the peace to carry on as I am sure Mr. Rubin would not have any other way. would want you to.
