Annie, Kathryn and I are most grieved by your loss of dear Petie. I say no more. There are not enough words to fill the beautiful and loving life that Petie had given to us. And to you Annie, most endearing wife, you are the sparkle that Pete so loved. God bless you.

Dear Annie,
We share your loss. John treasures his 48 year friendship with Petie starting at the Naval Training Center. From when I first accused Petie of being a burglar, I have loved his sweet southern drawl and his sense of humor . . . enhanced by yours! We love you and we treasure our time with both of you and our wonderful memories. Love, Marilyn and John

Dear Annie, I am sad to know you are facing the days ahead without your life long partner by your side. I so loved all the funny stories you always told about you and Petie and know he brought you much joy and happiness. He was such a gentle man and so very genuine, it was not difficult to see that he may have left Alabama, but Alabama never left him. Love and Hugs to you.

You always were more than a southern gentleman to everyone you met. Many good memories of sharing a blind at Wister with you and buddy. I will think of you often my friend.

Petie, you will surely be missed. Wonderful memories of you and Annie are centered around golf and fishing the Bow River through Canada. You always had a smile and made everybody you came in contact with feel warm and welcomed. Rest In Peace my friend.
