Memories come flooding back. Harry was different in many ways. In 1960s while 99.9999% of Americans drove Detroit built cars, Harry had a the Swedish Saab - probably the one one that I saw in Richmond, VA. Harry invited me to his wedding in 1965 with Carmen in DC area and requested that I take photographs with my new Nikon camera. When Nalina and I got married in 1966, they invited us to a sit down home cooked dinner at their apartment. Recollect going to the hospital when Candace was born in 1967. And visiting with them at their new house on West Cary Road --- though not as often as we had moved to India. But we stayed in touch over the phone whenever I was in US. Miss you, Harry!

It was the summer of 1963 that I met Harry at Richmond Engineering Co while I was still in graduate school. The next year he invited me to join the company and it was a great pleasure to work with him. Last I spoke to him in 2008 or so when he informed about earning PhD. Our deepest condolences to Carmen and all of Harry's children. I'll always remember him. Harish Jagtiani

Debbie, I'm saddened to learn of the passing of your Dad. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family now, and in the days ahead.
Although I didn't know your Dad, I know he had to be an awesome gentleman. That's evident in your kindness and generosity.
