You were a gift to our family. I am so blessed to have had you in my life. You brought so much love, laughter, support and generosity. I will treasure the great memories that we shared and will keep them in my heart forever. We loved, laughed, shared and cared but most of all we had the greatest gift that life can give – a family bond that withstands time and to be continued until we meet again. Love you and miss you so very much. XO
Your niece, Kim

Great guy..I loved my Friday nights picking up a few pies, waiting & talking fishing with John. RIP my friend. Hope the seas are flat, the winds calm & a good bite is on...
I just heard of John's passing and am so sorry to hear of your loss. I knew John from our favorite pizza place, Alex's, years ago when I lived in Manayunk and connected with him again in Cape May. I always loved when he popped in to the antique store just to see how I was, talk about fishing, and tell me a joke! I know many times he didn't feel well but he never complained. I will always remember his laugh, kind spirit, and his ability to see the good in everyone. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him in Cape May.
Johnny gave me my first job at Alex's Pizza and was always good to me. He taught me valuable lessons about working with others as a team and getting the job done.He was also a good friend and mentor. Thanks for everything Johnny.
To the Lukas Family. Sorry to hear of Johnny's passing....Johnny Lukas was a Nice guy and neighbor. God Bless and Rest in Peace.
Johnny gave us an oppertunity as neighborhood kids to put a few bucks in our pockets working at Alex's pizza. Those memories of hard work and the occasional fishing trips will always be remembered. We had alot of great times.Johnny will be greatly missed.
