Irene and I grew up together on Belmore Street and we had such a love of fun and music, starting fan clubs and collecting bees in the field behind her parents home. She was vibrant and I'm sure has left a huge handprint in this world. Condolences to Johnny, the twinnies Lynn and Denise and Pete.
Ms Arseneault, you were an inspiration to all your students at Sacred Heart. You taught us more then any book could ever teach us. It's hard to believe you are gone. I cannot imagine SH without you.
Until we meet again ...
Irene... you have been so kind to me and my belgian family. Three times you opened your heart and home for us for some days. The last time, you welcomed me and my children in Canada again and that was a nice start in a difficult period. I won't forget that. I liked you!
Tony, I wish you lots of strenght and hope! Thanks for making us get to know curling.

I was very sad to hear of Irene's death. I remember, very clearly, her charm, vivacity, and good will as a student of ours at Concordia University. I always enjoyed being in her presence. My condolences to the family and her friends.
I graduated from SHSM in 2002 and I remember my first ever drama class so clearly. Throughout the term, Ms. Arseneault helped me get to know myself both as a person and as a working actor today. I am grateful to her for her kindness and generosity. She was an exceptional artist. My heart and prayers go out to her family and friends that they may find comfort in knowing that, although it was taken away much too soon, she lived life to the fullest and touched so many along the way. God bless.
Almost 20 yrs since I graduated from SHSM and every time I step into a theatre I think of "Ms. Arseneault". I hope it comforts you to know that she deeply touched and inspired so very many people. Ms. Arseneault will be remembered as a very strong and great woman, and a most wonderful teacher. May she rest in peace.

Dear Merissa
I have no words to express the sadness I felt when I heard the news about your mom. Although I did not see her often our paths crossed a few times. The last time was last year in Mexico when I got to spend more time and got to know her a little better. I will always remember Irene for her warmth with that bright smile she so often had for everyone. She was always willing to help whenever needed. She will be missed in this world but she will always be your guiding light. Our sincere condolences to you and your family.
