Dear Suzanne and family,
we were shocked to read of Aline's death so soon after our mother's. (Mummy died April 1st, Easter Monday, at 6:15 AM) She was a very sweet and brave woman. Though we had not known her for very long, we all enjoyed her company during the time we spent together at St Mary's. Sue especially was stunned by the rapidity of her passing, since she planned to visit your mother at her "place" as Aline called it.
We were happy to chat or help her out when we could - opening her cookies (always TWO packages, remember) and her milk, or swapping meals to get away from those never ending tuna sandwiches !!.
Suzanne, you were very kind, looking out for our mother if one of us was not around. Thank you so much. I enjoyed talking to you. It's such a shame we had to meet under such unhappy circumstances.
All of us send our sympathy to you and your family: my daughters Ashley and Stephanie, my sister Suzanne and her daughters Shannon and Aylish, and all my brothers who came and went during mummy's stay.
Cherish all your happy memories. She was a special lady.
Lynn Chapman (Marie Draper's daughter)
