I knew Dr. Tremblay both as a teacher from my days as a resident and later as a colleague at the JGH, where he worked for quite a few years as an honorary consultant. I was always impressed by his encyclopedic knowledge of pathology but also by his civility, kindness, and considerable culture. I wish to extend my condolences to his family.
Je sais que le Dr Tremblay a apporté une contribution considérable à la pathologie, pour les patients et leur famille, et pour les jeunes médecins qu'il a encadrés et formés. Je me souviens aussi de sa courtoisie et de sa gentillesse. J'offre mes témoignages de sympathie à sa famille.
I wish to express my sincere condolences to the Tremblay family. Dr. Tremblay was generous in knowledge and in spirit and was an absolute joy to greet in the Lyman Duff corridors in between his teaching, researching or diagnosing patients. He will be sadly missed but will forever be remembered by the members of "Le Quartier". May he rest in peace.
I am saddened to learn Dr. Tremblay has passed away. He was one of my first teachers in Pathology, and I remember him as a gentleman, an inspiring teacher and a dedicated scholar. I extend my condolences to his family.
