Hello Bev,
I have happy memories of the years when Bob worked for Ian - and of staying at your home in Etobicoke for the Stationer's Convention. Ian was always a fun person to be around and brightened our days.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

To Sally,
So sorry to read about the loss of your father. I met your parents in the community and at your birthday parties - remember when we we all watched the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show?

My deepest sympathies to Bev, Sally and Peter. Though I was a kid when I knew the MacFarlane and Brooks families in Cote St. Luc, I remember a lot of fun betweeen our family and yours. You were friends of my parents, Jeannette & Ed Lareau, but I remember the great slides and skating rinks you built in your back yards. A great memory of a very nice man - one with lots of fun. Blessings to you all.

Sad to read about Ian's passing. He was my first boss and I have nothing but fond memories of him and the fun we had back in the good old days at MacFarlane Co. 1744 William Street. My condolences to the MacFarlane and Brooks families.

I am deeply sorry to hear of Ian's passing. I will always remember him as a devoted husband and a great neighbour in his community in Creg Quay. Bev and Ian hired me to come and clean their house but I'd like to think I was more than a housecleaner. I know they treated me like family and I'll never forget him.He was the sweetest man.My sympathies to you Bev, I miss you, and to all the family.

Some of the fondest memories I have as a kid growing up was spending time with the Macfarlane clan up north or down east. Mac was always in the best of spirits and a fun guy to be around. RIP
